📢 Attention Maplewood Elementary Families!
We’re thrilled to announce an upcoming field trip to Como Zoo for our 3rd and 4th-grade students! This is a fantastic opportunity for students to explore wildlife, learn about conservation, and enjoy a fun-filled day with classmates.
📅 Trip Details:
- Date: Friday, March 15, 2025
- Time: Departure: 9:00 AM | Return: 2:30 PM
- Location: Como Zoo, 1225 Estabrook Dr, St. Paul, MN 55103
- Who’s Attending: All 3rd & 4th-grade students
- Transportation: Students will travel by school bus
- Cost: $10 per student (covers transportation and activities)
- Lunch: Students should bring a packed lunch and a refillable water bottle
🐵 What to Expect:
✔️ Explore amazing animals like lions, giraffes, and polar bears 🦒🦁
✔️ Visit the Tropical Encounters Exhibit and see rainforest creatures up close 🌴🐍
✔️ Learn about wildlife conservation and animal habitats 🌎
✔️ Participate in an interactive scavenger hunt around the zoo! 🕵️♂️
📌 Important Reminders:
✅ Permission slips & payment are due by Friday, March 8, 2025
✅ Dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable shoes 👟
✅ Bring a light backpack for lunch, water, and any personal items 🎒
